Huma is stepping into world of production with Baby Do Die Do, where she will be seen playing the lead role. The actress acknowledged the immense responsibility that comes with producing while balancing her acting commitments in the same project.
"It is very tough; I think becoming an actor is... well, not exactly easy... Both are difficult, but yes, the job profiles are very different, and there is immense pressure. Thankfully, I have my brother Saqib with me; for the film we are currently working on—Baby Do Die Do—he has actually shouldered the entire burden. Since I am also acting in the film, it is a lot of work, but I am enjoying it too. I think it is almost like a dream come true to get the opportunity to produce," she said.
Looking stunning on the red carpet, Huma revealed that her outfit carried a deeper purpose beyond style. The actress shared that she is making a conscious effort to support India's rich artisanal heritage, particularly from Jammu and Kashmir. "I am trying to support local artisanal crafts from the state of Jammu and Kashmir," she said.
When asked about her statement jewellery, Huma gave credit to the creative minds behind her look. "I don't want to make a mistake, but regarding my style—Nikhil Mansata and Zoa have put together this beautiful jewelry..." she shared.
The actress also spoke passionately about the significance of the Crafting Bharat Awards, which honours entrepreneurs and business leaders for their contributions to society and nation-building. Drawing parallels between entrepreneurship and creativity, Huma praised the initiative for recognizing individuals whose efforts often go unnoticed.
"Yes, absolutely. I think it's a great initiative—to host a lovely evening like this to honor entrepreneurs, true leaders in the real sense. I feel that in our day-to-day lives, we don't really honor their achievements and their contributions to nation-building. So, I am happy to be here to lend my support and my voice, and to honor some of these wonderful people tonight," she said.
With Baby Do Die Do currently in production and her entrepreneurial journey gathering momentum, Huma Qureshi appears to be entering one of the most exciting phases of her career. Whether on-screen or behind the scenes, the actress is continuing to push boundaries while championing creativity, craftsmanship, and meaningful storytelling.
