Distributors and exhibitors who are associated with Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab hoped the government of Andhra Pradesh would permit special premieres of the film starting from 12 AM on 9th of this month. But the state government denied permission for the special premieres.
The government cited the spike in Covid cases as the reason behind its decision to deny permission for special premieres.
But the government is likely to permit early shows which start from 4 AM or later. If that happens, theaters will be able to screen the film 6 times a day instead of 4 all though the weekend.
Vakeel Saab was sold for high prices and it is essential that the film gets off to a good start at the box office if it is to have a fruitful opening weekend.
