‘Stop! That! Train!’ Teaser Promises Camp, Chaos, and a Wild Ride This Summer

Get ready to hop aboard the most outrageous cinematic journey of the season. Bleecker Street has dropped the first teaser for Stop! That! Train!, a flamboyant, high-energy comedy that’s already embracing its over-the-top charm. Directed by Adam Shankman and co-created by RuPaul, the film is gearing up for a theatrical release on June 12, 2026—and it looks like pure, unapologetic fun.

 

At the heart of the story are best friends Tess and DeeDee, played by Ginger Minj and Jujubee. The duo swaps their mundane railway jobs for a glamorous upgrade aboard the “Glamazonian Express.” But what begins as a glittery escape quickly spirals into chaos when a massive storm—dramatically dubbed “Stormaganza”—threatens to send the speeding train crashing straight into Los Angeles.

 

Things get even more delightfully absurd as the coach-class heroines are forced to team up with a group of hilariously snobby first-class attendants, played by Symone, Brooke Lynn Hytes, and Marcia Marcia Marcia. Overseeing the madness is none other than President Gagwell, portrayed by RuPaul, adding an extra layer of campy authority to the unfolding disaster.

 

The film doesn’t stop there—it packs a seriously eclectic supporting cast, including Joel McHale, Chris Parnell, Natasha Leggero, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Sarah Michelle Gellar.
