Amaravati, July 6 (SocialNews.XYZ) Strengthening its European base, the YSR Congress Party led by former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has formed new committees.
The formation of several new committees across Europe was announced during a programme held at Ingolstadt in Germany to mark the 77th birth anniversary of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy (YSR).
Organisers noted that this expansion reflects the growing support for the party among the overseas community and a firm resolve to uphold the ideals championed by Dr YSR.
Telugu people from across Europe gathered in Ingolstadt on Saturday to celebrate YSR’s enduring legacy.
The event, which drew more than 300 supporters and well-wishers, saw a strong turnout from Telugu communities residing in Germany, Ireland, Poland, Denmark, Italy, and various other European nations.
Speakers at the assembly fondly recalled Dr YSR’s contributions to Andhra Pradesh, underscoring his lifelong commitment to social justice, public service, and inclusive development. Participants emphasised that the late leader’s vision remains a guiding light for the Telugu diaspora worldwide.
Former Andhra Pradesh minister Perni Venkataramaiah (Perni Nani), who attended as a key speaker, addressed the gathering by highlighting Dr YSR’s visionary leadership and the lasting impact of his landmark welfare initiatives.
YSRCP NRI Coordinator Samba Siva Reddy also addressed the participants, commending the overseas community for their active efforts in preserving and promoting the late leader’s philosophy.
The commemorative event was spearheaded by the YSRCP Germany Committee under the leadership of Krishna Teja Reddy Gaddam. The coordination efforts were led by Official National Spokesperson Karthik Yellapragada, alongside Netherlands Convenor Sarathi Reddy Vanga and Ireland Convenor Akepati Kishore Reddy, who were instrumental in uniting supporters from diverse European regions.
Reaffirming their pledge to strengthen the movement, the organisers committed to continuing their work in line with the values of integrity, compassionate governance, and selfless service—the hallmarks of Dr YSR’s political career.
The programme concluded with cultural interactions and a collective pledge by the attendees to carry forward Dr YSR’s vision and continue championing his ideals across the European continent.
