Mumbai, June 28 (SocialNews.XYZ) Actor Vivaan Sharma, who was seen as Sahil Arora, in the recently released web series 'Raakh,' revealed that he plans to shift to Mumbai after completing his school.

During an exclusive conversation with IANS, Vivaan was asked, "Have you thought about moving to Mumbai permanently?"

He shared that "At the moment, I have completed my schooling. Education has always been very important to me, and I have consistently performed well academically."

He added that he wanted to complete his studies in the same school where he started.

"Once that phase is fully complete, I plan to move to Mumbai and pursue acting full-time", added Vivaan.

Sharing how he prepared for the role in 'Raakh', Vivaan said, "I watched old videos and classic songs. For certain dance sequences, I studied performers like Shammi Kapoor. I already enjoyed dancing, but my style was modern and influenced by hip-hop, so adapting to an older style was a challenge."

He added that he learned acting simply by observing and practicing.

"I approached this role with extensive research", disclosed Vivaan.

Speaking about how he prepared for the part on an emotional level, Vivaan stated, "Emotionally, I prepared myself by imagining the circumstances my character was facing. Before every scene and before stepping onto the set, I reminded myself that I was Sahil. I tried to understand what he would feel and how he would react in those situations."

"Our director, Prashant Sinha, was incredibly supportive. He would explain the emotional requirement of a scene but never dictate exactly how to perform it. He encouraged us to discover the emotions ourselves and gave us complete creative freedom. That trust helped us deliver authentic performances", he concluded.

Written and co-directed by Anusha Nandakumar and Sandeep Saket, 'Raakh' has been backed by Endemol Shine India, along with BhaDiPa.

The show premiered on Prime Video on June 12 this year.
