Infamous WWII-era ‘Death Railway’ station resurfaces after decades underwater (Video)

Remnants of Nithe Station have resurfaced from beneath a reservoir as water levels dipped. Thousands of Allied prisoners of war and Asian laborers died while building the railway for the occupying Japanese forces in Southeast Asia. The railway was featured in the classic 1957 film "The Bridge on the River Kwai."
