“Pigeon Kabootar” from Nishaanchi Takes Flight with Swag, Soul And Street Vibes

The soundtrack of Nishaanchi just dropped its latest banger, and it’s already ruffling feathers—in the best way possible. Titled “Pigeon Kabootar”, the track was unveiled by Zee Music Company with a caption that set the mood: “Look Dekho and listen to #PigeonKabootar Full Song Out Now.” With just days to go before Nishaanchi hits theatres on September 19, this song is the perfect warm-up.

 

Sung with infectious energy by Bhupesh Singh, and composed and penned by debutant Aaishvary Thackeray, the track is a quirky mix of street-style rhythm, old-school desi flair, and sharp lyrical punches. The name Pigeon Kabootar might sound playful, but it’s packed with attitude—mirroring the film’s tone of drama, chaos, and raw, grounded swagger.

 

Directed by the ever-unpredictable Anurag Kashyap, Nishaanchi is being pitched as a full-blown masala entertainer. But don’t expect clichés. With Amazon MGM Studios India and Pen Movies backing the project, and Ajay Rai and Ranjan Singh producing under Jar Pictures and Flip Films, it’s a unique blend of mainstream meets indie madness.

 

The film marks the bold debut of Aaishvary Thackeray, who’s pulling off a double role right out of the gate—no small feat. Alongside him are Vedika Pinto, Monika Panwar, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, and the ever-reliable Kumud Mishra, rounding out a cast that promises intensity, humor, and heart.
