“No One Can Make Films on India Like Manoj Kumar: Raveena Tandon Pays Tribute”

One such tribute came from actress Raveena Tandon, who shared her deep affection and admiration for the legendary actor during her visit to his house. She recalled her long association with him and expressed her gratitude for his guidance and influence on her career.

 

After paying her respects, Raveena was seen speaking emotionally about her "Manoj uncle." She said, "I have known Manoj uncle for many years... in fact, he is the one who gave my father a break in films. He was like a father to all of us. Today, I have brought three of his favorite things for him—things I have offered at his shrine. I will be back tomorrow to offer more. One is a Rudraksh mala from Mahakal, another is Sai Baba's vibhuti, and the third is the Indian flag. For me, he embodied 'Bharat.' He was Bharat, and will always remain so."

 

Raveena continued with heartfelt words about his legacy, emphasizing how his films, filled with patriotism and national pride, stood as timeless classics. She said, "No one has made films about India like he did, and no one ever will. Every single song from his films is etched in my memory. My all-time favorite is the song from 'Ziddi' - 'Jab Zero Diya Bharat Ne'... Today, the entire nation bows its head in respect to him. He was a legend and will remain a legend forever."

 

As the film world and the nation at large come to terms with the loss of one of the most influential figures in Indian cinema, it’s clear that Manoj Kumar’s contributions to Indian cinema, particularly in the realm of patriotic and inspirational films, will remain unparalleled.
