When asked about the rising stars of the industry, Tarun confessed, “Well, that is a very tough question, there are so many, I don’t think I can choose; it would be unfair to choose. However, I think Zoya Akhtar is very cool. Tarun also spoke about the transformation India has experienced as a country, noting, “India has changed in the last 30-40 years. People are more confident, and we’re defining a new fashion era in this country. Our textile traditions are rich, and now, we have the opportunity to marry that with contemporary designs to create something truly special."
