I Will Sing In My Next Music Video Says Sharib Hashmi

Talented actor Sharib Hashmi, who made his debut into music video space with Eternal Love, says with his next music video, he will try and sing his own song, making his singing debut of sorts. 

 

 

Sharib Hashmi was interacting with media during the music video ‘Eternal Love’ launch in Mumbai. The song is made under the label of melodyzon, also features actress Nancy Thakkar.

 

Sharing an interesting life-long dream of featuring in a music video, and plans for his next release, Sharib said, “When I was growing up, Indie-pop scene was huge, artists such as Shaan, Ali, Alisha, Sonu Nigam and whole lot more rocking the non-filmy song space and I used to wonder that I should also feature in a song, only now that one wish has been fulfilled. I am glad that I am part of this music video, and I am hoping that the next music video that I will do, I will sing the song myself.” 

 

This song has been directed by Swapnil Raj, crooned by Prakash Prabhakar, composed by Faraz Ahmad. 

 

Being a writer and actor, we asked Sharib if he shared any inputs for the song, and he added, “When Swapnil told me about the song, and there is a line in the song with which the whole story of the song sort of revolve, I liked it a lot, and I didn’t had to visualize anything else, as the director already had a wonderful visualization for the song. The song revolve around a man dealing with the demise of his wife and he is stuck in a loop of grief.” 

 

Last seen in Tarla, actor Sharib Hashmi will soon be seen in Sharma Ji Ki Beti and Cancer.
