After the first accidental hit, the team is back with second instalment of 'Satyameva Jayate' with a triple dose of John Abraham, over the top action and heavy-duty dialogue-baaji.
Satyameva Jayate 2 is not for every sensibility, the film is loud, at times absurd and cringy, but it’s a delight for John’s fans, and rest is just downhill ride!
Tale of Azaad family is set in Lucknow, where a righteous farmer Dadasaheb Balram Azaad is killed during farmers agitation, cut to present time, where his two sons – Jay and Satya, are putting an end to corruption by rightfully fighting it, or just by killing people in night.
Jay an officer in the police force and Satya a politician, perform their duties to the best of their abilities and once the sun go down, duo put on their cape crusader outfits and starts dealing with corrupt people in a different style. The hooded brothers deal with corrupt doctors, health care officials, government officials, criminals responsible for women, the list is long and let me assure you, the duo doesn’t leave anyone out.
Divya Khosla Kumar, Gautami Kapoor, Harsh Chhaya, Anup Soni and Zakir Hussain mark their presence with seasoned performances. The film lacks structure and narrative, which really hinders the viewing experience.
