Uma Maheshwar Ugra Roopasya starring Satya Dev in the lead role gained positive buzz, thanks to an impressive teaser and posters. The film was made on a low budget and is all set for its digital release by the end of the month.
Directed by Venkatesh Maha of C/O Kancharapalem fame, 'UMUR' is touted to be a realistic social drama. It is an official remake of Malayalam film, Mahesinte Prathikaaran.
The film was supposed to hit the silver screens on April 15th, but these plans were cancelled due to the imposition of lockdown. The film will now be gearing up to entertain digital audiences from the end of June. If that is not the case, the film will be out by early July, say reports.
However, it is still unclear if Netflix bagged the rights or Amazon Prime. An official announcement will be made by the makers soon.
