The bus was on its way to Rairangpur from Jashipur.
Residents from nearby villages rescued the injured and rushed them to Rairangpur hospital.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik declared ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh to the families of each of the deceased.
