Court's order on PM's degree unfortunate: Kejriwal

New Delhi, Jan 23 (IANS) Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday termed the Delhi High Court's order on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Delhi University degree as unfortunate and said the people have a right to see their Prime Minister's educational degree. He also said that Modi's degree is "definitely fake".

"Delhi High Court stay order very unfortunate. People have a right to see their PM's degree," Kejriwal tweeted.

Kejriwal's reaction came after the Delhi High Court on Monday stayed the Central Information Commission order directing Delhi University to allow inspection of records of all students who had passed the BA degree exam in 1978, the year in which, according to the University, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also cleared the examination.

"Modiji's degree is definitely fake. He is trying his best to conceal it ," Kejriwal added.

The issue of the 1978 DU degree records cropped up after Aam Aadmi Party raised questions about the degree of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, triggering a controversy.
