Daggubati Purandeswari addressing a press meet in Vijayawada said that Andhra Pradesh needs Special Status category along with a Special package.
Due to certain issues, Special Status cannot be expected at present, the BJP leader said.
She further clarified that the Central government is making sure all the requirements for the state are taken care in a phased manner and BJP is moving forward with 'Sabke Saath-Sabaka Vikash' principle.
