A few days before the release of Bruce Lee, Dasari called a press conference and gave a hint to Ram Charan to postpone Bruce Lee as historical films like Rudramadevi should run freely which caught social media firestorm. Allu Arjun had to release a statement saying that it was Rudramadevi that came unannounced.
Now, Dasari issued a media statement congratulating three films which scored a hit. "Three small films, Kanche, Raju Gari Gandhi and Columbus, which released for Dasari festival have become super hits. Hereby, I congratulate the technical crew and actors of those films", said Dasari said in his statement.
The buzz in the social media is Dasari has indirectly targeted Bruce Lee with his statement.
