Mumbai, Sep 4 (SocialNews.XYZ) Supermodel Cindy Crawford penned a note for her model-baby Kaia Gerber as she turned 25 and said that she is wise beyond her years, filled with so much compassion, kindness, and love.
Crawford took to Instagram, where she shared a picture of herself with Kaia, who won Model of the Year at the British Fashion Awards in 2018.
“Happy 25th birthday to my (not so) baby, @kaiagerber… Wise beyond your years and filled with so much compassion, kindness, and love. Watching you grow into the beautiful woman you are today has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. So proud of you, always!” Crawford wrote as the caption.
Apart from strutting the runway, Gerber has also appeared in the tenth season of the horror anthology American Horror Story, as well as its spinoff, American Horror Stories. She next appeared in Damien Chazelle's period drama Babylon, which was her feature film debut.
She also appeared in the teen sex comedy film Bottoms alongside Rachel Sennott and Ayo Edebiri. In 2024, Palm Royale debuted on Apple TV+, with Gerber taking on the role of Mitzi, an aspiring model in 1969 Palm Beach. She appeared in both seasons of the show.
Meanwhile, Crawford is a model, actress and television personality. One of the most popular supermodels of the 1980s and 1990s, she achieved a ubiquitous presence on magazine covers, runways, and fashion campaigns.
She was first married to actor Richard Gere from 1991 until their divorce in 1995. The supermodel then married businessman and former model Rande Gerber in 1998. They have two children, son Presley Walker Gerber and daughter Kaia Jordan Gerber.
Just like her daughter, Crawford too tried her hands in acting. In 1987, she appeared in the opening credits of the Michael J. Fox film The Secret of My Success. Crawford and the other four models subsequently appeared in the video for George Michael's hit "Freedom! '90" later.
Subsequently, Crawford played the lost love of Jon Bon Jovi in the 1994 video for his version of "Please Come Home For Christmas", "John Taylor" in the 2011 video for Duran Duran's "Girl Panic" and Headmistress in the 2015 video for Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" as part of a cast including Jessica Alba, Selena Gomez, and fellow models Lily Aldridge, Cara Delevingne, Gigi Hadid, Martha Hunt and Karlie Kloss.
