Riddhima Kapoor Sahni Shares Adorable Childhood Throwback With Ranbir Kapoor On Raksha Bandhan

Raksha Bandhan turned nostalgic for Riddhima Kapoor Sahni as she took a trip down memory lane with a priceless childhood picture featuring her brother Ranbir Kapoor and their mother Neetu Kapoor. The special throwback offered fans a rare glimpse into the Kapoor family’s cherished memories and highlighted the warm bond shared by the siblings.

Riddhima shared the childhood photograph on her Instagram Stories as she celebrated the festival of siblings. In the picture, young Riddhima and Ranbir can be seen posing alongside their mother Neetu Kapoor, looking every bit like the adorable brother-sister duo they were.

Ranbir looks particularly cute in the vintage photograph, dressed in a blue T-shirt paired with jeans, while Riddhima smiles for the camera beside him. With Neetu Kapoor standing alongside her children, the picture captures a beautiful family moment from their growing-up years.

Along with the throwback, Riddhima penned a simple yet affectionate Raksha Bandhan wish for her younger brother. She wrote, “Happy Rakhi Rans. Love you,” accompanied by red heart emojis. The short message said plenty about the bond the siblings continue to share even after growing up and building their own lives.

Riddhima and Ranbir are the children of legendary actor Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor. Growing up in one of Bollywood’s most celebrated families, the siblings have spent much of their lives in the public eye. Despite their different professional journeys, they have often spoken warmly about their relationship and remained close over the years.

While Ranbir Kapoor went on to become one of Hindi cinema’s leading actors, Riddhima carved out her own identity as a jewellery designer and entrepreneur. Their careers may have taken them in different directions, but family celebrations such as Raksha Bandhan continue to bring out the more personal side of their relationship.

The throwback picture also gave fans a glimpse of the Kapoor family before Ranbir became the superstar audiences know today. From the young boy in a blue T-shirt to the actor who has gone on to headline some of Bollywood’s biggest films, the photograph offered a sweet reminder of how quickly the years have passed.

Riddhima’s post comes at a time when Raksha Bandhan celebrations across Bollywood have filled social media with family pictures, childhood memories and heartfelt wishes. Her simple tribute stood out for its personal touch, choosing an old family photograph over a glamorous celebration.

For fans of the Kapoor family, the picture was an especially nostalgic treat. It brought together three generations of memories in a single frame — Neetu Kapoor as a young mother and Riddhima and Ranbir as children — making the Raksha Bandhan post all the more special.

As Riddhima continues to celebrate the festival with her family, her heartfelt “Happy Rakhi Rans” message is a reminder that no matter how much life changes, the bond between siblings can remain just as special. And sometimes, all it takes is one old photograph to bring those childhood memories rushing back.
