"I Forgave Shreya, But the Audience Will Decide..." Akanksha Chamola Exposes House Politics After Lock Upp Exit

Akanksha Chamola is done staying silent. Days after her eviction from Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa, the actress has opened up about betrayal, manipulation, and the controversies that dominated her journey inside the jail. From forgiving Shreya Kalra for exposing her secret to addressing the drama surrounding her personal life, Akanksha made it clear that she has no interest in carrying bitterness—but she certainly isn't holding back the truth.

Reacting to Shreya revealing one of her personal secrets inside the house, Akanksha admitted she immediately chose forgiveness—but believes viewers will decide the rest. "I forgave her right then and there. I said, 'Fine, whatever.' It was my right to reveal that secret in my own way, and she took that away from me. My part ends with forgiving her. Whether the audience forgives her or not—that's up to them."

The actress also broke her silence on the heated confrontation over comments made about her personal life. Clarifying that she never had an issue with labels or criticism, Akanksha said her problem was dishonesty. "When I signed the show, I had already laid out so many personal details about myself that I didn't care what people said about me. My issue was never with being called a 'witch' or comments on my personal life. My point was simple—I knew exactly what was being said behind my back." She continued, "I wanted to expose the game. I was telling her, 'I know exactly what you're doing. Stop lying.' Whether she denied it or not didn't matter. I just wanted everyone to know I wasn't being fooled."

Akanksha also dismissed speculation surrounding Rishabh's visit and whether it affected her gameplay. "Whether he came or not was his decision. Why he came and with what intention—that's his business. I'm not going to comment on that. As far as my game is concerned, I don't think anything changed." According to her, she stayed true to herself throughout the competition and never altered her approach because of outside influences.

Reflecting on her overall journey, Akanksha believes she may not have lifted the trophy, but she earned something far more valuable. "People told me I truly played Lock Upp. Thank you—that's exactly what I wanted to hear. Even though I lost the game, I won people's hearts. That was my intention from Day One. I don't seek attention; attention comes to me. People's perception of me changed after Lock Upp, and that's enough for me. Now it hardly matters who wins." Whether fans agree or not, Akanksha's unapologetic post-eviction remarks have reignited conversations around one of the season's most debated contestants.
