Opening up about life inside the controversial reality show, Harshad painted a picture far different from what viewers saw on screen. Recalling the biggest struggle, he admitted that hunger became a constant companion. "The first thing I did after coming out was ask for food. 'Give me something to eat,' because honestly, one stayed hungry inside. They never really filled our stomachs. Maybe five, eight, or nine meals during my entire stay were enough to fill me. Otherwise, every day, right after eating, it felt like it was already gone," he said. He also revealed that surviving without his regular workout supplements, adapting to freezing cold water, and dealing with basic living conditions became the biggest lessons of the experience.
Despite his shocking elimination, Harshad insisted he walks away without any bitterness. "No, I think it was a good experience. I discovered so much about myself. These 35 days are the most adventurous thing I've ever done in my life, and I will remember them forever," he shared, adding that the show made him realize how dependent he had become on comforts like hot water and pre-workout supplements. According to him, surviving without them proved that many of those habits were unnecessary.
The biggest talking point, however, remains his decision to give up his position for Shivangi. While fans accused him of sacrificing his own game for her, Harshad stood firm. "A friend in need is a friend indeed. That's just who I am. I do things for friends without overthinking. I don't think I did something huge or something small—I simply did what felt right at that moment," he explained. He also dismissed claims that Shivangi emotionally manipulated him, saying, "No, it wasn't like that at all. I really felt it was the right thing to do."
Harshad also addressed the viral criticism suggesting Shivangi used him inside the house. Responding to Shilpa's comments, he said, "It's incorrect. I still don't understand why she feels that way because she has never been able to explain it to me. We're good friends. People saw what I did for Shivangi, but many didn't notice how she shared her food with me whenever there wasn't enough. We fought too—our friendship wasn't perfect." Whether fans agree with him or not, Harshad's emotional honesty has once again made him one of the most talked-about contestants of Lock Upp Season 2.
