Akhil Akkineni’s ‘Lenin’ Teaser Promises Romance, Action and Rural Charm as Nagarjuna Celebrates 40 Years in Cinema

The much-awaited teaser of Lenin, starring Akhil Akkineni, has finally been unveiled, and it is already creating excitement among Telugu cinema fans. The teaser was released on the special occasion of veteran actor Nagarjuna Akkineni completing 40 remarkable years in the film industry as a lead actor, making the launch even more emotional and memorable for the Akkineni family and their fans.

Written and directed by Murali Kishor Abburu, Lenin stars Bhagyashri Borse opposite Akhil in the lead role. The teaser presents a visually rich world filled with colorful village landscapes, simple lifestyle moments, and a soft romantic atmosphere that immediately grabs attention. Celebrating 40 years since his debut as a lead actor in Vikram, the actor took to social media to express gratitude towards his fans for their continuous support and love throughout his career. Nagarjuna recalled how May 23 holds special emotional significance for him, not just because of Vikram, but also because it marked the release of Manam, the final film of his legendary father Akkineni Nageswara Rao.

In his heartfelt note, Nagarjuna wrote, “Thank you for all the blessings and love being showered on me today. May 23!! the date I cannot forget!! The day which I had the honour of producing and releasing the last film MANAM of my legendary father ANR.” He also reflected on sharing screen space with both his father and his sons in the emotional family drama, which also starred Naga Chaitanya, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and Shriya Saran.

Over the years, Nagarjuna has become one of Telugu cinema’s most celebrated stars through iconic films like Siva, Geethanjali, Ninne Pelladata, Annamayya, Manmadhudu, and Oopiri.
