Salman Khan Sends Birthday Wishes to Bodyguard Shera Amid Hospital Incident Drama

Just hours after a tense moment outside Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital, Salman Khan took to Instagram to share a warm birthday wish for his close friend and longtime bodyguard, Shera, aka Gurmeet Singh Jolly. In a heartfelt post on his Instagram Stories, Salman shared a picture with Shera, showing the two standing close with Salman’s arm around his friend’s shoulder. The caption simply read, “Happy bday Shera @beingshera,” highlighting the strong bond between the two.

This affectionate gesture came shortly after Salman expressed his frustration publicly over photographers crowding outside Hinduja Hospital. Videos from the scene showed the actor visibly upset with the media presence. Salman, known for his respectful relationship with the press, shared a series of firm posts condemning the photographers for trying to exploit painful moments for content. He wrote, “If I see any press at a hospital enjoying my pain... The press that I have stood for... took care to make sure that they also earn their bread n butter.”

In a strongly worded message, Salman also reminded everyone that despite turning 60, he has not lost his fighting spirit. He warned, “Saath saal ka ho gaya hoon lekin ladna nahiin bhoola yeh yaad rakh lena, jail mein dalo ge haaa haar,” which translates to, “I’m 60 years old, but I haven’t forgotten how to fight—remember that. Even if you put me in jail.” This statement underlines Salman’s resilience and readiness to stand his ground.

On the professional front, Salman Khan is gearing up for his next big release, Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace. The film, which was earlier titled Battle of Galwan, is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between India and China. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia and produced under Salman Khan Films, the movie stars Salman alongside Chitrangada Singh and is expected to hit theaters soon.

Amid personal challenges and public scrutiny, Salman’s birthday shoutout to Shera serves as a reminder of the close relationships that anchor him, while his upcoming film promises to showcase his cinematic strength yet again.
