Jaipur, May 13 (SocialNews.XYZ) Political controversy has intensified in Rajasthan after one of the two brothers arrested from Jamwaramgarh in connection with the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak case was identified as a former office-bearer of the BJP Yuva Morcha, triggering fresh attacks from the opposition and putting the ruling party on the defensive.
The Special Operations Group (SOG) recently arrested brothers Mangilal Binwal and Dinesh Binwal in connection with the alleged paper leak. Dinesh Binwal had earlier served as District General Secretary of the BJP Yuva Morcha.
Following the arrests, senior Congress leaders, including former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Rajasthan Congress chief Govind Singh Dotasra, and Leader of Opposition Tikaram Jully, launched sharp attacks on the BJP government, demanding clarification over the accused’s alleged political links.
Ashok Gehlot alleged that the Rajasthan government attempted to suppress the matter because the accused was linked to the BJP.
In a social media post, Gehlot wrote that Dinesh Binwal was a BJP functionary and questioned whether this was the reason the state government allegedly delayed filing an FIR in the NEET paper leak case.
Govind Singh Dotasra described the revelations as “serious and shocking,” claiming that the accused were close to ministers and MLAs associated with the ruling BJP government.
Dotasra stated that photographs of the accused with BJP leaders were circulating widely and alleged that some were close to the BJP MLA from Jamwaramgarh, while others were associated with the Education Minister and former BJP MLA from Chomu.
He questioned the alleged relationship between the BJP and the “paper leak mafia,” stating that the future of millions of students had been compromised.
Leader of Opposition Tikaram Jully also attacked the government, alleging that the paper-leak case had remained hidden for 9 days because one of the accused was associated with the BJP.
According to sources, Mangilal Binwal and Dinesh Binwal allegedly procured the leaked NEET paper from a doctor in Gurugram, Haryana, between April 26 and 27 for around Rs 30 lakh. However, family members of the accused have claimed that the two brothers are being falsely implicated as part of a conspiracy.
Photos of Dinesh Binwal with several BJP leaders, including Education Minister Madan Dilawar, have surfaced on social media. Images of him putting up birthday posters for Jamwaramgarh BJP MLA Mahendra Pal Meena have also gone viral.
Meanwhile, the BJP has not yet issued any major official statement on the matter, but voices within the party have begun asserting that the law will take its own course, irrespective of the accused’s political affiliation.
