Riva Arora Breaks Silence on Online Hate as "Shagna Di Raat" Wins Hearts

Riva Arora, one of the brightest and youngest stars to grow up in the public eye, has often found herself at the receiving end of mindless trolling and wild conjectures. From baseless discussions about her age to absurd claims about hormone injections, the actress has seen it all. Yet, with her latest wedding-themed music video “Shagna Di Raat” striking an emotional chord with audiences, Riva once again proves that talent, grace, and authenticity rise above noise.

Talking openly about facing online hate and trolling, Riva shared a powerful and honest response. She said, “I would like to say is that no matter what I do, there will always be people who would say something or the other, I guess it’s there job, and you really cannot stop them, to be honest, I have so much love, why would I look at the hate coming my way, I got so much love. And to the people who are hating on me, do a little more, what do I care. I am happy that people appreciate me and love me, I am concentrated on that, I really don’t have time to look at the hate, people say a lot of stuff about me, what can I do, that is just part and parcel of life, I got nothing to prove to them, so let it be, I just let go.” The statement reflects a maturity that goes beyond her years and highlights her focus on positivity over negativity.

“Shagna Di Raat” is not just another wedding song; it carries deep emotional layers that translate beautifully on screen. Riva revealed that she was unaware of the complete storyline until moments before the shoot. “I was under the impression that we are doing a normal wedding song, and Suman didn’t narrate the whole story to me or my mother, he was certain we wouldn’t be able to handle it,” she shared. Trusting the director completely turned out to be the right decision.

Recalling the emotional moment, Riva added that just before the shoot, director Suman Guha finally explained the entire story, leaving her overwhelmed. She broke down instantly, and the emotions seen in the final video were completely real. “Those tears you see in the video, aren’t fake, I literally crying,” she revealed, adding authenticity to her bridal portrayal.

Officially released on December 13, 2025, “Shagna Di Raat” is a romantic wedding-themed music video featuring Riva Arora and Singer Diamond. Directed by Suman Guha and released under the Desi Tadka Music label, the song is described as a poignant journey of love and longing, capturing the bittersweet emotions of a wedding night through heartfelt visuals and soulful music.

As audiences shower love on “Shagna Di Raat,” Riva Arora continues to evolve as an artist who embraces honesty, emotion, and resilience. By choosing to focus on appreciation rather than hate, she sets a powerful example for young artists navigating fame in the digital age.
