The film also stars Anandhi, Prabhu, Ilavarasu, PL Thenappan, and Aruldoss, tells the story of two friends who are pitted against each other to create a caste divide in their village.
Raavana Kottam hit theatres on May 12 and opened to unfavourable reviews and good box-office collection.

The film has music by Justin Prabhakaran. Vetrivel Mahendran has taken care of the cinematography while the editing is done by Lawrence Kishore.
