Adipurush (is written and directed by Om Raut and produced by T-Series and Retrophiles. Shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu languages, the film stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh and Devdatta Nage.
The official premise of the story reads, “7,000 years ago, Ayodhya's prince Raghava and his brother Lakshmana travel to the island of Lanka with the help of Bajrang's army with an aim to rescue Raghava's wife Janaki, who had been abducted by Lankesh, the demon king of Lanka.”
The film is scheduled to be theatrically released on 16 June 2023.
