In this regard, on Friday, March 10 2023, at the Freedom Yard, the Protkons Team of the Indonesian Embassy in Khartoum held a friendly meeting with Indonesian Migrant Workers who are members of the Association of Indonesian Migrant Workers (P2MI) Sudan.

The Indonesian Embassy took advantage of the opportunity to socialize the latest developments regarding consular regulations, immigration, efforts to strengthen the protection of Indonesian citizens, especially migrant workers in Sudan, as well as consular dialogue especially regarding the 10-year passport validity period, requirements for making passports, recording E-KTP in SIAK and other rights. rights of children with dual citizenship.

 

As many as 100 Indonesian citizens, the majority of whom work as domestic workers, were present at the activity which was held in a friendly and kinship atmosphere among Indonesian citizens.

In his speech, PF. The Protkons of the Indonesian Embassy in Khartoum Rudy Kurniady, among other things, conveyed the latest developments in consular regulations, protocols for foreign travel to Indonesia, updates to the PeduliLindungi application to become SATUSEHAT and the importance of maintaining unity among Indonesian citizens in Sudan.

The enthusiasm of the audience who took part in the event was very high which was reflected in their activeness in the question and answer session by providing constructive input for efforts to strengthen the synergy of Indonesian citizens in Sudan with the Indonesian Embassy in Khartoum and to improve the quality of services for the Indonesian Embassy in Khartoum in the future.
