The film stars an incredible ensemble of Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Saswata Chatterjee, Karmveer Choudhary, Arjun Bijlani, Shraddha Arya, Sriti Jha, Arjit Taneja and Churni Ganguly.
The film was initially scheduled to release on 10 February 2023. However, it is now postponed due to delay in shooting caused by Alia Bhatt's pregnancy. It is now scheduled to release on 28 July 2023.
Dharmendra and Jaya will be seen as Ranveer's parents, Shabana will take up the role of Alia's mother.
Produced by Dharma Productions. The film marks the second outing for Ranveer and Alia, the duo earlier collaborated on Gully boy where their chemistry was much admired.
