Hailing from Guwahati, Santanu is a famous doodle artist and illustrator and winner of RedBull World Doodle Art Champion 2014. He hosted his first artwork exhibition in Worli, Mumbai, titled BLCK.
Interacting with NewsHelpline during the exhibition Shruti Haasan said, “I’d seen it all from the inception, I have seen all of them being created before it hit the canvas. I am proud of him, and I am really excited for everyone to see his work. I loved it, that is probably the first thing I loved about him. I think because of Art we met for the first time, and I am excited for everyone to see this”
Further adding, Shruti also said that painting by name Duality is her favorite as it is an homage to duo’s favorite metal-band.
She added, “There is painting called duality and it is a homage of our favorite metal band and our favorite slip not song, so that is favorite painting, though I love all his work”.
Shruti and Shantanu are fan favorite and usually spotted in gothic outfits, black color coordination. When asked if black is there go to color, she added, “Black is both of our aesthetic and taste, I think it is our natural fit”
Meanwhile on the work front, Shruti Haasan is busy with Salaar, an action thriller film written and directed by Prashanth Neel. It stars Prabhas in the lead role. The film is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under Hombale Films.
