Mumbai, 27 Dec (News Helpline) The controversy regarding the song 'Madhuban' of Bollywood star Sunny Leone was increasing continuously. Meanwhile, the makers have taken a step forward and apologized and promised that the lyrics of the song will be changed in three days.
Saregama, which had released the aforementioned song on its YouTube channel on December 22, said in a brief statement, "In light of the recent feedback & respecting the sentiments of our fellow countrymen, we will be changing the lyrics & the name of the song Madhuban. The new song will replace the old one across all platforms over the next 3 days."
Actually, since its release, the song was in controversy due to its lyrics and dance moves. There were allegations of hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus on this song.
Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra had described this video as hurting religious sentiments. He said that the makers of this song apologize or else action will be taken. Apart from Madhya Pradesh, saints of Mathura of Uttar Pradesh have also demanded to ban this song.
Saints called Sunny's dance obscene. He said that the item dancer of this song has hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus. This song is also facing a lot of opposition on social media. People objected to experimenting with the lyrics of the song and its filmization.
