Daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, actress Sara Ali Khan said that she went overseas to study law but found her real passion in acting by doing a play.
Sara Ali Khan was interacting with Newshelpline at the Chaka Chak song launch from forthcoming Atrangi Re, at an event in Mithai College.
Being an event with college kids, we quizzed Sara Ali Khan about her college life, and she said, “College was blast for me, I think the best of it was living alone. I learned a lot by just being on my own. I missed India and my mother a lot. College was just amazing”
“I went to college to study law, and I did an acting course there, and I participated in a play there, and that’s what changed my life. That is where I found something I wanted to do for rest of my life” added Sara.
Being a role model for many, Sara Ali Khan parted with a valuable advice for the college kids. She said, “Don’t ever try to be like someone else, as that person already exist. So, be you, be who you are, and work hard because all dreams you’d even wanted, do come true, at the right time”
The film also stars Akshay Kumar and Dhanush in the leading roles. Helmed by Aanand L Rai, the musical romantic drama has music from AR Rahman, produced by T-Series, Colour Yellow Productions and Cape of Good Films.
The film is set to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on 24 December 2021, coinciding Christmas.
