The second wave of the deadly corona-virus has hit the country very badly and today many celebrities are coming forward to help the people in need. Actor Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna have also come forward to donate 100 Oxygen Concentrator.
Sharing the news on her social media, Twinkle wrote, "Wonderful news- Dr Drashnika Patel & Dr Govind Bankani of London Elite Health through Daivik Foundationare donating 120 oxygen concentrators and as akshay kumar and I have managed to get our hands on 100 as well, we have a total of 220. Thank you for the leads. Let's all do our bit."
Encouraging everyone to do their bit during this time, she also wrote, "I think for the last few weeks with members of my own family ill I have been in a bit of a hole. But I couldn't stay there for long. I implore all of you in your own way to do whatever you can so we can look back at this bleak moment and at least say it took the worst but it brought out the best in all of us. #LookForSilverLinings"
This news has come in just after Khiladi Kumar had donated 1 Crore to Gautam Gambhir's Delhi based NGO for helping those who are in need during corona. Last year the actor had donated 25 crore to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's relief fund for Covid-19!
On the work-front, Akshay has a list of films in his kitty, that include, 'Sooryavanshi', 'Prithviraj', 'Atrangi Re' , 'Bachchan Pandey' and 'Bell Bottom'.
He was currently shooting for 'Ram Setu' when the shooting had to be stalled because 45 members of the crew were tested positive for Corona.
