Media Giant Zee Studios has joined hands with Colour Yellow Productions and Cape of Good Films for their next - Raksha Bandhan starring Akshay Kumar in the lead role.
The film was announced last year on the occasion of the Raksha Bandhan festival, the movie revolves around the brother-sister bond. With Zee Studios coming on board, it will only boost this special project that is currently in the pre-production stage.
The official handle of Colour Yellow Productions dropped the confirmation of the news. It said, “We're excited to announce #RakshaBandhan- A #ColourYellowProductions film In Association with #CapeOfGoodFilms, starring @akshaykumar and directed by @aanandlraika. Thrilled to have @ZeeStudios_ with us, in association with #AlkaHiranandani and @aanandlrai”
Helmed by ace director Aanand L Rai, and written by Himanshu Sharma.
Confirming the same, Zee Studios official page tweeted, “It's a delight to collaborate on a film that celebrates the purest relationship! Thrilled to announce, we are now on board with #AlkaHiranandani and @aanandlrai on #RakshaBandhan...A #ColourYellowProductions with #CapeOfGoodFilms, starring @akshaykumar and directed by @aanandlrai... #HimanshuSharma @cypplOfficial @ZeeStudios_”
Zee Studios earlier to deliver hits like Rustom, Kesari, and Good Newwz with Akshay Kumar but it marks Rai’s first association with the studio.
