Partho Ghosh as a director has given us some memorable films like 100 Days, Dalaal and Agni Sakshi. The director is now making his debut as a director for digital world with his series 'The Perfect Script' which will be streaming on Digiflix Tv. The director opened about the series, working for OTT Platform and more.
Talking about the hype that digital world got during the year 2020, he said," Because of pandemic, it seems like a year has just vanished from our lives. Last year, no film could release on the big screen . People were sitting and binge watching only at their homes and as a result OTT Platforms saw a big boom."
Partho Ghosh has always made films for big screen. When asked, why did he choose to make content for OTT Paltform, he answered, " Till date, big movies are releasing directly on the OTT platform because audience is not ready to go to the cinema halls yet. You never know when your content will be released on the big screen. So it is better to make content for OTT now.
He further added, " Making content for OTT platforms does not make you a small director. Big big directors and actors are now working for OTT Platforms. The first big film that was released digitally is Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana starrer 'Gulabo Sitabo'. This has not made them an OTT artist."
Partho Ghosh's directorial debut for digital world 'The Perfect Script' is a suspense thriller which showcases love, betrayal and revenge. It stars Rahul Dev, Rajneesh Duggal, Ruslaaz Mumtaaz, Leena Jumani and Monika Rathore. The series will stream on Digiflix TV.
