Tusshar Kapoor is excited about his forthcoming thriller Maarrich, share a little sneak-peek from the sets and pens a heartfelt note.
Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah along with Rahul Dev, Anita Hassnanadani and and Tusshar Kapoor will feature in the whodunit thriller, Maarrich.
Actor Tusshar took to his social media and shared the sneak-peek pictures from the set and wrote, “Almost 20 yrs down this wonderful journey of making stories come to life, beginning 2021 with #Maarrich..a departure from my usual style, a film that challenges me to evolve as an actor! In the film, Naseeruddin Shah will be seen in the avatar of a Catholic priest while Tusshar plays a police officer.
The film's title draws from a character in the Hindu epic Ramayana. Maarrich, an aide of Raavana had assisted the ruler of Lanka to kidnap Sita, tempting her by posing as a golden deer.
Apart from his home banners Maarrich, Tusshar Kapoor is also part of Jersey, also starring Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles. The sports drama is helmed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, a remake of his 2019 Telugu film of the same title. The film is slated for Diwali 2021 release.
