Our country is still fighting the deadly corona-virus. Many Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Neetu Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan have already fallen prey to it. And now actress Kriti Sanon has also tested positive for Covid-19.
Very recently, there was news that Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan who were shooting for their upcoming film 'Jug Jug Jiyo' in Chandigarh have tested positive for Covid-19 along with their director Raj Mehta. Now the latest actor who has been tested positive for corona is Kriti Sanon who was also shooting in Chandigarh with Rajkummar Rao for their next film.
The actress returned to Mumbai only two days back after wrapping up her shoot there. Kriti has still not confirmed the news yet on her social media handle.
The 'Heropanti' actress was recently signed in for playing the role of Sita in Prabhas starrer 'Adipurush'. Many big names like Anushka Shetty, Anushka Sharma, Kiara Advani and Keerthy Suresh were being speculated for this role but she finally bagged it.
On the work front, she will next be seen in 'Mimi'. The film directed by Laxman Utekar is a remake of Marathi film Mala Aai Vhhaychy! The film focuses on surrogacy where Kriti will be seen playing the role of a surrogate mother. It is produced by Dinesh Vijan and also features Pankaj Tripathi, Sai Tamhankar, Manoj Pahwa and Supriya Pathak.
