​Kay Kay Menon Is Humbled And Honored With Response For Special Ops, Especially From Hrithik Roshan

Actor Kay Kay Menon says he is honored and humbled with the response his web-series Special Ops is getting, especially praise from Hrithik Roshan.

Recently Hrithik Roshan praised web-series of social media. The War actor praised the series, actor and entire production team. Apart from praises from fraternity, the series is critically acclaimed and been on everyone’s binge list ever since its release.

While talking to us, exclusively, over a telephonic interview, we asked Kay Kay about the response for series from fans and Hrithik. He said, “I’d already thanked him on social media. It feels good, that suddenly someone has seen this series and appreciating it whole heartedly and you can see it in their eyes that it has come from the heart”

“So thank you so much for that and everybody who has appreciated this work, I am honored and it’s a very humbling experience, because the kind of appreciation we have got for this particular web-series has been overwhelming. We knew, we’d made a good kind of series, but the appreciation that came our way, it is overwhelming and humbling. We will try to produce such good content in future” added actor.

With lockdown in place, people are binge watching Special Ops, so we asked Kay Kay Menon, if he was binge watching or reading during these social-distancing times.

He said, “I binge watch a lot and read a lot, it would be hard and unfair to name something or someone particularly because as an artist and creative person, you cannot have such a narrow thinking.

We asked Kay Kay Menon, what’s keeping him motivated and creative in such dire times. 

He said, “Sometimes I start using my harmonium, I am tending my garden, I am very fond of gardening. I love to play sports, but that is not possible in these times, I do something or the other at home. I read a lot; I do things around the house, mostly chores. The entire house help has been quarantined by us, we have strictly told them to stay home, and stay safe.”

Despite being a popular and sought after actor, Kay Kay Menon is still an enigma to many. The actor hardly ever uses social media platforms, so we asked him if self-promotion is something he avoids or doesn’t like.

He said, “I don’t have the expertise in that department, I seriously lack the skill to market myself, some people have it and they are blessed, but I don’t think I have expertise to promote myself. I like to promote my work; I do the promotion for my work, because that is required. Apart from that I just don’t know how to promote myself, to be honest, I think my work ideally speak for itself, I have expertise of performing, not promoting”.
