After breaking the dance floor with musical extravaganza Bhangra Paa Le, actor Sunny Kaushal is basking in the glory of web-series “The Forgotten Army” says he is happy with the response.
Filmmaker Kabir Khan’s most ambitious web-series “The Forgotten Army - Azaadi Ke Liye” is based on true events about the men and women in the Indian National Army (INA) led by Subhash Chandra Bose. The series stars Sunny Kaushal and Sharvari along with an ensemble. The show premiered on Amazon Prime Video on 24 January 2020 and has been much talked about ever since.
Talking about initial audience response to the web series, Sunny Kuashal said, “I am really glad that people are appreciating our show. They have loved the portrayal of INA (Indian National Army) soldiers because most people weren’t aware about this story”
“I think the way Kabir (Khan) sir has created this show; I feel that people are liking it a lot. They are very vocal about it which is great and we have got great feedback so, I am feeling grateful about it” added Sunny.
The series also stars Rajvir Chauhan, Rohit Choudhary, Karanvir Malhotra, M.K. Raina, Shruti Seth, Kajol Muskan, Rajiv Ranjan, R. Badree, Sam Mohan, Sunil Jaglan, Upen Chauhan and more. The web series based on Azad Hind Fauj was streamed on January 24, 2020.
Meanwhile, newbie Sunny Kaushal is busy with Nikhil Nagesh’s Hurdang and Kunal Deshmukh’s Shiddat.
Hurdang also stars Nushrat Bharucha and Vijay Varma in the lead roles. The film is a love story set in the backdrop of the student agitation of 1990 in Allahabad.
