Kabir Khan directorial sports biopic titled '83 has been the most anticipated film of 2020. Based on the historic win of the Indian cricket team against West Indies in 1983 under the captaincy of Kapil Dev, the project finds itself amidst extreme fanfare much before its release.
The film also stars Deepika Padukone, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Amrita Puri, Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani and Sahil Khattar.
The film traces the historic victory of the Indian cricket team during the 1983 world cup. The film is presented by Reliance Entertainment. Touted to be the biggest sports film of all time, ‘83 is being co-produced by Madhu Mantena, Sajid Nadiadwala and Reliance Entertainment.
The film is scheduled to release on April 10, 2020, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
