An Introduction - Mamangam – the most advertised film as of late has at last hit the big screen. The Padmakumar helmed epic which is at the forefront of everyone's thoughts, lips, papers, online life, and TVs has included the entire industry making it the most excitedly anticipated and presumably will wind up as the most examined movie till date.

What's Mamangam Is About - Without going into historic facts as the film disclaimer says Mamangam is about the Mamangam celebration of the eighteenth century in the banks of the Bharathappuzha at Tirunavaya, in the Malabar area. The film pursues the tale of Chaaverukal who plot to topple the Zamorin rulers. We should get into the art and cinematic parts of Padmakumar's magnum opus featuring Mammootty, Unni Mukundan, Master Achuthan, Prachi Tehlan, etc. Mamangam is increasingly eager in its interpretation of affection, penance, betrayal, valor, and pride. The film is intoxicatingly excellent, richly mounted perfect work of art with unprecedented execution that revives your adoration for epic spectacles, fantasy, and battles.

Script Analysis - Positives - The script of Mamangam is not a commercial one. Mamangam had been really taking shape for such a long time that I had nearly abandoned the film. Also after the teaser of the film was released, I was certain that the creators had played a great deal with history, to make it an epic noteworthy war drama but little did I know that it would still be spectacular. Composed with massive ability, the dialogues are solid with a lovely touch to them. Some will even give you goosebumps. They have made an awesome showing in drawing out brutal characters with very much scratched out characteristics. Scenes are written with incredible thought and henceforth the conversations between each character's make up for a splendid watch.

Negatives - The base of the story is laid appropriately, characters presentations keep you captivated yet the film falls behind at the most significant crossroads – The script. The climax may work in the single screens yet separated from a couple of good action scenes, there's nothing to bolster the multiplexes. The film begins a splendid note and you feel something fascinating will spring up however that remaining parts a desire till the end. With more than 150 minutes, there are numerous unequivocal minutes in the film which give out that it's a wreck hereon

Direction - M Padmakumar just chooses to wow me with this film. I repeat, just the direction. I don't have any idea what all bits are shot by the past directors. Padmakumar is loaded with vitality and I especially love his spellbinding nature of the direction. Every scene resembles canvas and the perplexing areas look brilliant. His characters are dressed great and his narrating doesn't need you to squint. He turns a drama that is both, engaging and interesting. But the problem is the script, which is not a fast-moving one.

Star Performances - Mammootty sir! We love you. I can't accept he is a man with 68 years. I don't have the foggiest idea who can show an uncovered body at this age. Regardless of what is the consequence of this film, kindly don't quit endeavoring such subjects in the future. Not at all a simple task to carry out yet this powerhouse of ability makes a point to convey the whole movie on him. I realize this has not been a smooth encounter however trust me the outcomes will persuade you to not stop. This man has endeavored something anybody would think nth occasions before pondering it. If I say much about his character, it will be a spoiler.

Unni Mukundan with his chiseled physique gives in all to the character and it pays well overall. He's unselfish in action successions, and there's not a single blemish about him with regards to battle. Mamangam is more than being simply one more quill to the paramount cap of Unni Mukundan. Unni is splendidly supported by Master Achuthan, and we as a whole definitely know how great he's at the action scenes. Yet, still, he amazes with those Kalari moves and passionate execution. He is the greatest takeaway for me in this film. Prachi Tehlan, Sudev Nair, Siddique, Iniya, etc are good on their roles. Lack of good writing didn't help them at any point.

Music, Cinematography, Production Design - Background score by Sanchit Balhara and Ankit Balhara is an ideal blend of class. It goes incredibly well with the action and emotional scenes siphoning up the necessary adrenaline rush. The BGM takes the film to an alternate level. Music composed by M Jayachandran is also good. Production Designing by Mohandas is of the most elevated order. Manoj Pillai's cinematography is drop-dead lovely in every single edge. The film is a hypnotizing visual joy. It must be said that the technology is utilized for flawlessness to improve the viewing experience.

Sound, Editing, Actions - Sound designing is right on the money and consequently, you really feel those weapons hitting and each slice of the swords furiously. Despite the fact that I wish the editing by Raja Mohammed was tauter however the film still scores by accomplishing all it had proposed to and maybe substantially more. Action sequences are superbly organized by Sham Kaushal. But the gravity-defying stunts seem a little problematic. The greater part of the fight scenes is with the utilization of swords and each snapshot of that is related to Kerala Martial form, Kalari. There are bunches of cheering moments for spectators during action scenes.

Verdict - Mamangam conveys what it guarantees and does full equity to it. Keep your desires in a fringe. An exact portrayal of notable occasions keeping up the parity well alongside being. We have a never-aging Mammootty in the film yet Master Achuthan is the show-stealer.
