The YSRCP, the main opposition party in Andhra Pradesh, is shifting its office from Lotus Pond in Hyderabad, to the newly-constructed building in Tadepalli in Amaravati, the state's upcoming capital, with just days to go for the results of the Legislative Assembly and Lok Sabha polls that were held on April 11.

While Lotus Pond will continue to function as a YSRCP office, media reports suggested that party material including furniture was shifted to the party's state headquarters in Amaravati and many leaders based in Hyderabad are also expected to follow suit soon. YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy himself, is expected to shift to Amaravati on May 21.
