Kolkata, March 14 (IANS) A 46-year-old man was arrested here for carrying Rs 30 lakh in cash illegally, police said on Thursday.
Based on prior information, police officers on Wednesday held Sunil Sharma with a bag.
"The amount was counted in the presence of witnesses and Rs 30 lakh was found inside his bag. He could not render any satisfactory answer for carrying the illegal amount," an officer said.
