As per the trade buzz, Janatha Garage has set a new record in Kerala as the Malayalam rights of this film were sold for 4.2 crores. This is sensational as it fetched more than Baahubali Malayalam rights. Baahubali was sold for 3.25 crore and went on to collect over 14 crores in Kerala.
Malayalam superstar Mohanlal is one of the main reasons for this craze over Janatha Garage.
