Ishqa Ishqa Trailer: Helly Shah, Satyajeet Dubey And Anushka Kaushik Explore Love, Obsession And Control

The trailer of Ishqa Ishqa is finally out, and this one promises to take the idea of love into a much darker and more complicated space. Dropping the trailer, MX Player by Prime Video teased fans with the caption, “I dare you, iss ishq ki deewangi dekhna mat bhoolna, Watch #IshqaIshqa, Oct 7, for free, on Prime Video”. Starring Helly Shah, Satyajeet Dubey and Anushka Kaushik, the upcoming romantic thriller appears to explore what happens when love slowly crosses the line into obsession and control.

At the centre of the story is Kabir, played by Satyajeet Dubey, a writer whose personal life gets complicated when two very different relationships collide. Suhani, portrayed by Anushka Kaushik, represents stability, trust and a more grounded relationship, while Arohi, played by Helly Shah, brings an intense emotional history that Kabir cannot simply leave behind. The trailer sets up an intriguing emotional triangle where choosing between love and peace may not be as simple as it sounds.

Helly Shah appears to be stepping into a strikingly different space as Arohi, a woman whose feelings for Kabir seem to go far beyond ordinary affection. Her character is possessive, intense and deeply invested in keeping Kabir close. As the trailer unfolds, her idea of love begins to blur with control, creating an increasingly unsettling situation. Helly’s performance looks set to be one of the major talking points of the series as Arohi’s obsession threatens to consume everyone around her.

On the other side is Anushka Kaushik’s Suhani, who offers Kabir a relationship built around understanding and emotional security. But moving on from the past becomes difficult when Arohi returns and reignites emotions that Kabir thought he had left behind. The trailer cleverly keeps viewers guessing about Kabir’s choices while raising a bigger question: when does intense love stop being love and become obsession? That emotional conflict appears to be at the heart of Ishqa Ishqa.

Written by Rajesh Bachchani and directed by Amit Kumar Jha, the series is produced by Moving Images Studios Pvt. Ltd. The trailer promises a mix of romance, emotional drama and psychological tension, giving the show a darker flavour than a conventional love story. With its focus on possessiveness, complicated relationships and the dangerous side of emotional attachment, Ishqa Ishqa looks ready to keep viewers hooked as Kabir finds himself caught between two very different worlds.

Ishqa Ishqa will begin streaming from October 7, 2026, and the best part for viewers is that the series will be available for free on Prime Video and MX Player by Prime Video. With Helly Shah, Satyajeet Dubey and Anushka Kaushik leading the cast, the romantic thriller is bringing a messy, intense and unpredictable take on modern relationships. If the trailer is anything to go by, this is one love story where the word “obsession” may prove to be far more important than “happily ever after.”
