New Delhi, Oct 5 (SocialNews.XYZ) Mercedes‑Benz India recorded its best quarter and retailed 5,422 units in Q3 2026, up 6 per cent from 5,119 units in Q3 2025 and up 17 per cent on a quarter‑on‑quarter basis, a report said on Monday.
The company recorded its highest‑ever January–September sales of 15,190 units, with roughly 8 per cent growth over 14,132 units in the same period last year.
The performance was driven by strength across its Top‑End luxury models, including the S‑Class, Mercedes‑Maybach, EQS Maybach SUV, G‑Class, V‑Class and AMG range.
Top end models grew over 13 per cent year‑on‑year and accounted for over 25 per cent of sales, with the MANUFAKTUR personalisation programme accounting for nearly 75 per cent of that segment.
Mercedes‑AMG deliveries rose over 18 per cent, and the AMG G 63 posted its highest‑ever monthly sales, the company said.
It noted upcoming deliveries of the New Electrified S-Class which will begin mid-October; the New GLC BEV makes its India debut on November 4, 2026.
"Mercedes-Benz continues its outstanding growth story in India, clocking best-ever quarter and highest January-September sales, driven by exceptional value led customer strategy," said Santosh Iyer, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India.
"Our record sales in each quarter in CY 2026 is a result of our unwavering focus on high product substance, brand exclusivity and elevating customer experience. Our diverse product portfolio mix, new powertrain and elevated customer experience reflects the strong desirability of Mercedes-Benz among India's most discerning luxury consumers," Iyer said.
"While upcoming new products like the GLC BEV have already created high anticipation in the market, deliveries of the much-awaited electrified S-Class will begin this month, strengthening Mercedes-Benz's unmatched luxury positioning as the 'most desirable luxury brand' for discerning luxury dwellers," he added.
