Mumbai, Oct 3 (SocialNews.XYZ) Actress Ishita Dixit, who has been playing Pari for two years in Anupamaa, has celebrated the moment and said that it is a very big achievement and moment for her.
For Ishita, completing two years on a show as popular as Anupamaa is more than just a professional milestone.
Ishita said: “Completing two years with a huge show like Anupamaa is a very, very big achievement and a big milestone for me.”
She credits the opportunity for bringing a major change in her life and remains grateful to producer Rajan Shahi for trusting her with the role.
“I am extremely grateful and glad, and I will always be thankful to Rajan Shahi sir for giving me this opportunity because my life completely changed after Anupamaa happened, and that is the truth.”
Ishita said that her character Pari was very different when she started playing her, and now the girl has changed so much.
Ishita said: “I have also learnt a lot along the way, and I am genuinely happy with the growth that I have shown in these two years. I feel completely different today, not just as Pari but also in terms of my craft and as an actor.”
“I have learnt so many things, and when you are working with so many senior actors on the set, you constantly learn by watching them, understanding their process and sharing scenes with them.”
Ishita shared: “So, it has been a very amazing experience for me, and I hope it continues like this. Let's see how long Pari and I are together, but honestly, I would want this journey to be a long one because I want to continue playing Pari for as long as possible.”
“By now, she has become a part of me. When you play a character for so many years, you sometimes forget what real or reel is. Earlier, in every interview, I would say that Pari and I are not similar at all. But after two years, I feel we have developed a lot of similarities.”
The actress concluded: Somewhere, the difference between my real self and Pari has started disappearing because I have lived with her for so long. There are certain things she does or certain emotions she goes through where I now find myself thinking, ‘Maybe I am a little like Pari too.’”
