Lucknow, Sept 29 (SocialNews.XYZ) Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) chief and Uttar Pradesh minister Om Prakash Rajbhar on Tuesday took a dig at Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav over reports that Shivpal Yadav and Dharmendra Yadav entered the SP office.
He questioned whether party veteran Shivpal Yadav needed Akhilesh Yadav's permission to enter the party office.
In a post on X, Rajbhar claimed that Shivpal Yadav, Akhilesh Yadav's uncle, and Dharmendra Yadav needed the SP chief’s permission to enter the party office. He questioned whether Shivpal, who he said had played a significant role in building the Samajwadi Party alongside former party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav, now needed a "green signal" from his nephew to enter the office.
"Is it the case today that 'Chachchu' Shivpal Yadav, who, alongside Mulayam Singh Yadav-ji, toured villages to nurture the Samajwadi Party and dedicated his life to building the organisation, now has to wait for his nephew's green signal just to visit the party office?" Rajbhar said in his post.
He also referred to Dharmendra Yadav, saying that he too was allegedly facing a similar situation. "If this is the state of family members, imagine the situation of other leaders," he said, while describing the reported treatment of Shivpal as "pitiful".
The SBSP chief said political differences with Shivpal Yadav might exist but added that the SP leader had contributed to building the organisation. He said Shivpal had "put his sweat and toil" into the party and questioned the circumstances in which he was allegedly being made to wait for permission to enter the party office.
Rajbhar ended his post by saying that the Almighty was watching everything and would deliver justice regarding "honour and self-respect". He signed off with slogans including "Jai Bharat, Jai Shri Ram, Jai Shri Krishna" and "Jai Maharaja Suheldev".
The remarks come amid renewed political exchanges involving Rajbhar and senior SP leader Shivpal Yadav ahead of the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. Rajbhar has previously criticised the SP's internal functioning, while Shivpal has also hit back at the SBSP chief over his remarks.
