Mijwan Fashion Show 2026: Diana Penty, Shalini Passi, Shamita Shetty and More Turn Heads in Mumbai

Mumbai witnessed a glamorous evening of fashion and philanthropy as Diana Penty, Shalini Passi, Shamita Shetty, Shilpa Shetty, Sanya Malhotra, Neelam Kothari, Kanika Kapoor and several other celebrities graced the Mijwan Fashion Show 2026. Held on September 26 at Taj Lands End, the star-studded event brought together Bollywood glamour, exquisite couture and a meaningful social cause under one roof.

The Mijwan Fashion Show 2026 marked a major milestone as designer Manish Malhotra celebrated 15 years of his association with the Mijwan Welfare Society. Over the years, the collaboration has turned into one of the most talked-about fashion initiatives in the country, combining high fashion with the incredible craftsmanship of rural women artisans.

Founded by the late legendary Urdu poet Kaifi Azmi, the Mijwan Welfare Society is now managed by his daughter and veteran actress Shabana Azmi. The organisation works to empower women artisans in Mijwan, Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, by supporting their livelihoods and keeping the region's traditional Chikankari embroidery alive. What began as a grassroots effort has now found a glamorous place on one of India's biggest fashion stages.

The latest collection was every bit as elegant as fans have come to expect from a Manish Malhotra show. Ivory, deep green, coral and dreamy ombré shades dominated the runway, while the delicate Chikankari work added an unmistakable handcrafted charm to the ensembles.
