New Delhi, Sep 21 (SocialNews.XYZ) BJP National Spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said on Monday that even if 100s of Akhilesh and 1000s of Owaisi join forces, they can’t stop BJP from winning the Uttar Pradesh elections in 2027.
“In 2027, the lotus will bloom again. The main issues--law and order is strong, Uttar Pradesh is developing, and when it comes to women's respect and dignity, Yogi Adityanath has taken full care of it,” Bhatia said while commenting on Owaisi’s latest urge to other parties for an alliance with AIMIM ahead of the assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh in 2027.
On the other hand, all these lumpen, communal leaders who engage purely in the politics of appeasement come out and issue such statements. No importance or attention should be given to their statements," he continued.
Speaking to IANS on the matter, BJP MLA Ram Kadam claimed that the AIMIM chief's recent comments reveal they have already admitted defeat.
“Now, on one hand, there is this statement from Owaisi, and on the other hand, there are the harsh words of Akhilesh Yadav--sometimes saying 'chavanni', sometimes saying something else. What do all these fearful statements confirm? They show that they have already accepted defeat even before the elections,” he said.
When the assembly elections take place in Uttar Pradesh, a BJP government will once again be formed under Prime Minister Modi's leadership. Facing the upcoming election, the opposition there is worried and scared," he claimed.
Minister Jaiveer Singh said, "Whatever Owaisi is saying is on his own accord. We are a strong party and will fight on our own strength. Whether everyone comes together or contests separately, it makes no difference to us. More than 50 per cent of the votes and support will be in our favour, and we will form a government with a clear majority. Whether they contest separately or together, it will not affect us."
Ambedkar Nagar Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar asked rhetorically to wait until October 27. He went on to say, “They will not ally because they believe that the leaders of Muslims are either Akhilesh Yadav or Rahul Gandhi. How can they accept and declare that Owaisi Ji has become the leader of Muslims? “
Rajbhar claimed, “Owaisi Ji wants a Muslim to become the Chief Minister, which neither Akhilesh Yadav nor Rahul Gandhi would want."
Furthermore, BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi also pitched in his thoughts on the matter. He said that it was not new for AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi to beg for an alliance; he does this before every election.
“But no one listens to his plea for an alliance, nor does anyone answer it. They have their own companions; they have their own team. It's up to them whether they form an alliance or run away from each other.
Similarly, Shiv Sena spokesperson Shaina NC expressed her sheer confidence in the NDA. She said, "Owaisi ji, put in as much effort and enthusiasm as you want, but the winner will only be Yogi ji and the NDA. The NDA has delivered real work and results. You have always engaged in appeasement politics, and voters will not accept that appeasement."
Earlier, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said his party is open to working with like-minded political groups, stressing that no single political entity can stop the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) alone and suggesting that Opposition parties should consider working together.
Owaisi also said his party will announce its next steps on a possible electoral partnership on October 2, ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh.
