Patna, Sep 17 (SocialNews.XYZ) On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday, Union ministers and NDA leaders from Bihar extended greetings and highlighted his long political career and welfare initiatives.
Union Textiles Minister, Giriraj Singh, offered prayers, performed a 'havan' and participated in 'aarti' at the Mahakal Temple in Khatopur in Begusarai district.
He said the prayers were offered with the wish that PM Modi would continue serving the poor and working for the country's development for many years.
“He has been serving the poor for the past 25 years. From his time as Chief Minister to becoming Prime Minister, he has worked for the underprivileged. The way he lifted 25 crore poor people above the poverty line and provided them with amenities like housing, electricity and gas, our prayer is that he continues to serve the poor and remains blessed by the people,” Giriraj Singh said.
Union Food Processing Minister Chirag Paswan arrived at Varanasi Airport and extended birthday greetings to the Prime Minister.
“Many congratulations to my Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, on his birthday. For the past 25 years, the Prime Minister has received the love and blessings of the public. It is a privilege for me to visit Varanasi—his karmabhoomi—on his birthday,” Paswan said.
JD(U) National Working President, Sanjay Kumar Jha, also conveyed his birthday wishes to the Prime Minister.
“Many congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He has served the people for 25 years, starting as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, and the work he is doing as the country's Prime Minister is unparalleled,” Jha said.
In Sasaram, a group of Muslim women marked Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday by cutting a cake and extending their greetings.
The women also referred to the enactment of the Triple Talaq law, describing it as an important step for Muslim women.
They prayed for the Prime Minister's long life and continued well-being.
